Medical Insurance and Financial Responsibility
You have to arrange your own medical insurance. Hosts don't take the financial responsibility of any medical case. The most known global insurance companies have service in Hungary, please contact their local office to arrange the medical insurance contract for yourself.
1. Medical Coverage
1.a. We arrange the ambulance presence during the following events:
- Opening Ceremony and Reception
- Closing Ceremony and Gala Dinner
- Gulyás and Dance Party on Thursday evening
- Laboratory Practical Exams
1.b. Medical Doctors (GPs) will be present during
- Competitors' Excursions
- The nights (11:00 pm - 7:00 am) at the Competitors' Hotel (Hotel Forrás)
1.c. Nurses will be present during
- All the days with the Competitors (7:00 am - 11:00 pm)
1.d. In case of emergency of Jury Members the ambulance will be called.
2. Safety is one of our main priority
2.a. Accident and Fire Prevention Training:
- For Competitors: will be made on 15th Monday morning.
- For Jurors: will be made at the beginning of the Jury Sessions.
2.b. Laboratory safety
- All competitors:
- should wear the prescribed safety equipment (goggles, gloves, masks, etc.) - no exception is applied.
- will be informed on the risk of the used methods and materials
- All reagents in the lab:
- will be signed with usual CLP pictograms
- will be handled according to their MSDS sheets, which will be present during the lab
- will be transported by an official disposal firm after the practical exams to minimize the environmental pollution
